The vacuum will return to its docking station automatically once the dust bin is filled. The app will notify you when it's time to empty the dust bin, so you can do it and continue vacuuming. It also works with iRobot's self-emptying clean base making it easy to manage your bins that are dirty.
This product has some downsides. First, it's pretty expensive. The documentation is not extensive and there are no printed instructions on how to fix WiFi connectivity issues. If you are able to overcome these minor issues, then the iRobot Roomba Combo is a great investment for your home.

The robot vacuum and mop has an automatic bin that can be empty. automated vacuum cleaner is ideal for busy households as it reduces the frequency which they empty the bin. It automatically emptys debris into a larger container in the charging station. This device can hold up 60 days of debris and is more convenient than a typical mop or vacuum that requires you to empty the bins manually.
Contrary to other models, this model does not utilize precision vision. It instead relies on basic floor tracking algorithms-based navigation, and basic floor tracking. This means it might miss a few places in your home and isn't as effective at obstacle avoidance as other models. It is still a good vacuum for most debris, and it's available at an affordable cost.
The Roomba Combo J5+ can be controlled by voice. It is compatible with Alexa-enabled gadgets, such as Siri and Google Assistant. You can tell the Roomba how to begin a cleaning, see its map, and build digital obstacles. The app allows you to alter your schedule and keep on top of your cleaning routine.

Roomba j9+ from iRobot

The Roomba J9+ builds on previous Roomba improvements. Its enhanced intelligence and superior cleaning abilities distinguish it from its rivals. It is designed to thoroughly clean larger homes as well as those with pets, tackling dust, dirt, pet hair and more in both soft and hard flooring. It's also the most intelligent iRobot Roomba ever, with the most advanced features like Dirt Detective and mopping automation that can anticipate your cleaning needs.
The j9+, like its predecessor, utilizes iRobot PrecisionVision navigation technology with cameras to identify obstructions within your home. The robot can navigate and avoid obstacles in your home, like furniture cords, shoes and cords, wires and even pet urine. The j9+ is also equipped with a smaller and more furniture-friendly self-emptying Clean Base.
After your robot has cleaned a space, it docks at the Clean Base and its dirt bin is automatically empty. The iRobot Home App records each cleaning task and displays clean areas on your map. The app allows you to select a specific time for mopping or vacuuming.
If you select a specific time to vacuum or mop, the iRobot Home app will let you know the estimated duration of cleaning. You can also select the number of passes to clean (1, 2 or "room-size" which means that large rooms are cleaned twice and smaller areas are cleaned twice to three times). You can also adjust power and water level options and bin behavior.
The iRobot App also comes with a neat feature called review of images. If the robot encounters an obstacle that it cannot identify, it will take a picture and send it to you to review. You can mark the object not as an obstacle, or put Keep-Out Zones around it. The j9+ will avoid the object on subsequent occasions.
The automatic mopping feature is a major reason why we prefer the J9+ to other robot vacuums. The j9+ will automatically remove tough dirt and debris when you enable SmartScrub in the app. It also can detect and move around wet spots, coffee spills and grime. However, despite its many automatic mopping features, the j9+ doesn't wash its mop pads automatically as some of its competitors.
iRobot SwitchBot
The SwitchBot is a great choice for those who love robot vacuum cleaners, but prefer the flexibility and ease of mop. This tiny robot incorporates the best features of both categories into a sleek device that blends seamlessly into your home decor. It is a good vacuum cleaner and mop. It is able to navigate your home's space on different surfaces. It also has an impressive suction power that can tackle dust, pet hair and dander.
The SwitchBot's compact size provides it with an advantage in cluttered rooms in which larger robots may struggle to maneuver around furniture. After you've connected the SwitchBot with your Wi-Fi network, it will display on your phone a row of quick controls, including one button to start a cleaning task and a second one to clear any clutter. You can also set up no-go zones to prevent the robot from accidentally picking over things that you don't want to.
During my testing of the SwitchBot, I found that the SwitchBot was able to maneuver around my home without issues, and also picked up crumbs and dribbles from floors and carpets with the vacuum setting. Its smart navigation system uses LDS laser-radars to create a blueprint for your home, so that it can accurately map the layout. The system also detects and avoids objects likely to be tangled or crushed by the robot.
If the vac setting is on the BrushBot's edge-sweeping feature is spinning and sweeps up any debris that crosses its path. It also reaches under tables and chairs, so it's an excellent choice for homes with lots of family gatherings. You can adjust the speed, direction, and power of the vacuum motor using the app settings.
When the SwitchBot is set to mop mode, it has a disposable wipe on its underside which you can replace if they are empty. The wipes are less expensive and less wasteful than the disposable pads used by the majority of robotic mops. The wipes are securely fitted, which prevents them from fall out, as they do on other robot mops. The robot comes with the cleaning tool, which is typically hidden in a compartment on the side of the charging unit.
